Photo: Ander Herrera sends heartfelt message to Man United fans

The midfielder sat out Sunday’s clash with Chelsea FC at Old Trafford after he picked up an injury in the Red Devils’ goalless draw with Sevilla in the Champions League in midweek.
Jose Mourinho confirmed last week that Herrera is set to be missing for a few weeks as he bids to regain his fitness as quickly as possible.
Herrera will be hoping to be back fit soon to help Manchester United end their second season under Mourinho on a high.
And the Spanish midfielder used his personal Instagram account to send a special message to his followers after the setback.
Herrera posted the picture above on the social network and wrote the caption: “So sad for not being able to help my team in the next few weeks, I will give my best to be fit as soon as possible, thanks for your support messages 🔴.”
Manchester United are not in Premier League action again until next Monday night, when they travel to Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
Mourinho is aiming to at least steer the Red Devils to a top-four finish and Champions League qualification in his second campaign in charge at Old Trafford.

Manchester United finished in sixth place in the Premier League last season as they won both the Europa League and League Cup.
