Man United star hints he wants Chelsea FC to finish above rivals

Matic helped Manchester United claim a 2-1 victory over his former club on Sunday afternoon as Jose Mourinho’s men secured a win over Chelsea FC at Old Trafford to boost their top four hopes.

The result hoisted Manchester United back up into second place in the Premier League table as the Red Devils chase Champions League qualification this season.
The defeat was a damaging one for Chelsea FC as it dropped them out of the top four and left them in fifth place in the table.
Now, former Chelsea FC midfielder Matic has hinted that he would like to see the Blues finish about Spurs in the Premier League table this season.
Asked whether he hopes his old club overtake Spurs, Matic told the Evening Standard: “I wish Chelsea all the best. I can only say that.”
Matic will be hoping to feature for Manchester United when the Red Devils return to Premier League action on Monday night with a trip to Crystal Palace.

The Blues, meanwhile, will aim to get back to winning ways when they take on Premier League leaders Manchester City at The Etihad on Sunday afternoon in their next game.
